Personal Reminders

Discord is a fast-paced environment where important tasks and events can easily be forgotten. Zero Degree’s Personal Reminders act as your digital assistant, ensuring you never miss a meeting, a birthday, or a community event.

Setting a reminder is as simple as telling ZeD when and why. Use the /remind set command:

  • Command: /remind set <time> <message>
  • Example: /remind set 30m Check on the giveaway results!
  • Example: /remind set 1d Renew the server subscription.

Zero Degree is smart enough to understand various time units:

  • m: Minutes (e.g., 10m)
  • h: Hours (e.g., 2h)
  • d: Days (e.g., 1d)
  • w: Weeks (e.g., 1w)

[!NOTE] Limits & Range You can set reminders as short as 1 minute or as long as 1 year into the future. ZeD will patiently wait until the exact moment to alert you.

  • /remind list: Feeling forgetful? This command shows every active reminder you’ve set, along with their unique IDs and exact due dates.
  • /remind cancel <id>: Plans changed? Use the ID from your list to cancel any pending notification before it fires.

When the time is up, Zero Degree will reach out to you:

  1. Public Mention: ZeD will send a message in the exact channel where you originally set the reminder, tagging you so you see it in your mentions.
  2. Private Fail-safe: If the bot no longer has permission to speak in that channel (or the channel was deleted), it will automatically send you a Direct Message instead.

[!TIP] Pro-Tip: Use it for Moderation. Sticklers for the rules? Use /remind set 1h Check if @user has stopped spamming to follow up on a verbal warning without having to keep it in your head.
