Personal Reminders
Discord is a fast-paced environment where important tasks and events can easily be forgotten. Zero Degree’s Personal Reminders act as your digital assistant, ensuring you never miss a meeting, a birthday, or a community event.
⏰ How to Set a Reminder
Section titled “⏰ How to Set a Reminder”Setting a reminder is as simple as telling ZeD when and why. Use the /remind set command:
- Command:
/remind set <time> <message> - Example:
/remind set 30m Check on the giveaway results! - Example:
/remind set 1d Renew the server subscription.
⏱️ Supported Time Formats
Section titled “⏱️ Supported Time Formats”Zero Degree is smart enough to understand various time units:
m: Minutes (e.g.,10m)h: Hours (e.g.,2h)d: Days (e.g.,1d)w: Weeks (e.g.,1w)
[!NOTE] Limits & Range You can set reminders as short as 1 minute or as long as 1 year into the future. ZeD will patiently wait until the exact moment to alert you.
📑 Managing Your Schedule
Section titled “📑 Managing Your Schedule”/remind list: Feeling forgetful? This command shows every active reminder you’ve set, along with their unique IDs and exact due dates./remind cancel <id>: Plans changed? Use the ID from your list to cancel any pending notification before it fires.
🔔 How You’ll Be Notified
Section titled “🔔 How You’ll Be Notified”When the time is up, Zero Degree will reach out to you:
- Public Mention: ZeD will send a message in the exact channel where you originally set the reminder, tagging you so you see it in your mentions.
- Private Fail-safe: If the bot no longer has permission to speak in that channel (or the channel was deleted), it will automatically send you a Direct Message instead.
