AutoMod
Keeping a server clean 24/7 is impossible for humans alone. AutoMod is your automated shield, working tirelessly to filter out spam, offensive content, and malicious links before your community even sees them.
🛡️ What does AutoMod Filter?
Section titled “🛡️ What does AutoMod Filter?”Zero Degree’s AutoMod is highly customizable. You can toggle specific filters based on your server’s needs:
- Spam Control: Detects and stops users from sending the same message repeatedly or flooding the channel with excessive mentions.
- Link Filtering: Prevent users from posting invites to other servers or dangerous phishing links.
- Bad Words: Maintain a professional atmosphere by automatically removing messages containing prohibited language.
- Emoji/Caps Overload: Stop “shouting” and emoji spam that disrupts the flow of conversation.
⚙️ Configuration
Section titled “⚙️ Configuration”AutoMod settings are integrated into our management dashboard. You can configure:
- Allowed Roles/Channels: Exempt your staff or specific “lounge” channels from certain filters.
- Violation Punishments: Choose whether the bot should just delete the message, warn the user, or automatically timeout repeat offenders.
🚀 Raid Protection
Section titled “🚀 Raid Protection”Beyond simple message filtering, ZeD includes Raid Protection. If a sudden influx of accounts joins and starts spamming, the bot can automatically “Lockdown” the server, preventing new members from speaking until a moderator intervenes.
[!TIP] Combine with Logging. Always ensure your Logging is set up for AutoMod events. This allows your staff to see exactly why a message was deleted and who the repeat offenders are.
