AntiNuke Security
In a perfect world, your moderation team is 100% trustworthy. In the real world, accounts get compromised, and sometimes “trusted” staff members go rogue. AntiNuke is your server’s ultimate fail-safe—a high-speed security layer that acts as a “tripwire” for malicious administrative actions.
🛡️ How AntiNuke Works
Section titled “🛡️ How AntiNuke Works”Think of AntiNuke as a silent guardian. It doesn’t interfere with daily moderation, but it watches for abnormal patterns. If a staff member suddenly starts deleting dozens of channels or banning members in rapid succession, Zero Degree realizes something is wrong and steps in to “freeze” the situation.
Protected Actions
Section titled “Protected Actions”Zero Degree monitors the following sensitive events:
- Channel Manipulation: Deleting or creating channels at high speed.
- Role Changes: Deleting roles or stripping permissions from others.
- Member Mass-Purge: Kicking or banning multiple members in a short window.
- Webhook Abuse: Creating or deleting webhooks (a common way nukers bypass logs).
- Server Sabotage: Changing the server name, icon, or vanity URL.
⚙️ Setting Up Your Protection
Section titled “⚙️ Setting Up Your Protection”Configuration is handled through the /settings command. Instead of complex text commands, ZeD provides a clean, interactive menu to manage your security posture.
The Settings Menu
Section titled “The Settings Menu”When you run /settings, you’ll see several options:
- Toggle Modules: You can choose exactly which events to protect. For example, you might want strict protection for Roles but more relaxed rules for Channels.
- Thresholds: Define the limit. You might allow 2 channel deletions in 10 seconds, but anything more triggers the system.
- Alert Channel: Set where ZeD should send emergency security alerts.
- Punishment Mode: Decide what happens to the offender (see below).
🔨 Punishment Levels
Section titled “🔨 Punishment Levels”When the “tripwire” is hit, Zero Degree acts instantly. You can configure the bot to perform one of the following:
- Demote: Strips all roles from the user. This is the safest “soft” punishment.
- Kick: Removes the user from the server immediately.
- Ban: Permanently bars the account from the server.
[!IMPORTANT] Role Hierarchy Matters! For AntiNuke to protect you, the Zero Degree role must be at the very top of your Role Settings. If a rogue admin has a higher role than the bot, ZeD won’t be able to kick or demote them.
✅ Whitelisting Trusted Staff
Section titled “✅ Whitelisting Trusted Staff”Sometimes you might be doing a massive server overhaul and need to delete 50 channels. To prevent ZeD from banning you, use the Whitelisting system.
/whitelist: Opens an interactive menu to manage whitelisted users and roles./whitelist add @user: Quickly exempt a trusted partner from AntiNuke tracking.
[!TIP] Ownership is King. The Server Owner is always whitelisted by default and cannot be punished by the AntiNuke system. Use the whitelist sparingly for others—only for people you truly trust.
